Fort Worth residents may no longer use their library card at the Benbrook Public Library

As of Sept. 1, Fort Worth residents will no longer be able to check out items from the Benbrook Public Library with a Fort Worth Public Library card.

Fort Worth residents who want to use the Benbrook Public Library will need to obtain a TexShare card at one of the eight Fort Worth Public Library locations offering walk-in service. Diamond Hill/Jarvis, East Regional, Golden Triangle, Northwest, Ridglea, Seminary South, Southwest Regional and Summerglen offer walk-in service 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Residents may continue to return items checked out from Benbrook Public Library at Fort Worth locations until Nov. 30 if it is more convenient.
