Spring has sprung in the Ridglea North Neighborhood Association!

Once neighbors realized they would not be able to host their annual garden tour scheduled for May 9, the planning committee leaped into action and decided to go virtual. The original event was scheduled to include six families opening their backyards to neighbors for a garden tour. So instead of physically visiting the residences, the gardens are now being shared via videos and photos.

The neighborhood initially planned on highlighting the gardens of the in-person participants, but the idea has been so well received and has bloomed into much more.

“The cool thing is that amazing pictures are being submitted by many neighbors, so now we are featuring gardens from all over beautiful Ridglea North,” said Una Bailey, garden tour co-chair.

The virtual garden tour can be viewed on the neighborhood association webpage. New gardens will be highlighted each week until mid-May with a description, videos and photos.
