Summit to discuss faith community's role in educational initiatives

Attend the second annual Faith and Literacy Educational Summit to learn how the faith community can get involved in community initiatives on literacy.

The summit will be 6-8 p.m. Oct. 24 at Texas Wesleyan University’s Martin Center, 3165 Rosedale St. The event is free, and appetizers and beverages will be served. Register online.

Participants include Reading Partners, Read2Win, the Fort Worth Public Library, FWISD, Literacy Connexus, Academy4, KidsHope and others.
