See Something, Say Something

Trust your instincts. If something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.

You know what’s normal in your life, so when something triggers an internal alarm, don’t pass it off as just an oddity. Say something about it by calling the Fort Worth Police/Homeland Security Task Force tip line at 817-392-6677.

If you see something that you feel might be a threat to the community; hear an acquaintance, friend of a friend, neighbor, coworker or even a relative making statements about planning mass violence; or read a social media post from someone wanting to retaliate for a perceived wrongdoing, share that information with local law enforcement agencies.

Most mass violence events are revealed before they occur by people talking casually about what they are planning. When residents share that knowledge with police, the tip will be investigated and a violent act may be stopped before it happens.

Community input is needed for the See Something, Say Something program to be effective. Report concerns about a community threat by calling 817-392-6677. To report a crime that is occurring now or in an emergency situation, call 911.
