September is Library Card Sign-up Month, and getting a Fort Worth Public Library card is as easy as 1-2-3. The process is free for residents and those who own property or businesses in the city.

  1. Make sure you have a photo ID and your water bill to verify your address.
  2. Visit a Fort Worth Public Library location near you. Find locations.
  3. Enjoy the benefits of your new library card, which include the ability to borrow materials from any Fort Worth library as well as six other partner libraries. A card also provides access to computers in the library and to online databases.

Besides a wealth of materials to check out, your library also hosts fun, free special events several times a month for people of all ages.
