Neighborhoods stage another successful food drive

Thanks to numerous generous donations, the 2019 City of Fort Worth Neighborhood Food Drive was a huge success.

Eight neighborhood organizations competed and collectively donated 2,273 pounds of food and $4,885 in cash to the Tarrant Area Food Bank. This equates to approximately 26,319 meals for those in need.

Prize winners:

Monetary donations
First place: Tanglewood Neighborhood Association.
Second place: Ridglea Country Club Estates Neighborhood Association.
Third place: Highlands of Willow Springs Neighborhood Association.

Pounds of food donations
First place: Ridglea Country Club Estates Neighborhood Association.
Second place: Highlands of Willow Springs Neighborhood Association.
Third place: The Landing HOA.

Winners will be acknowledged at a future City Council meeting.
