The Texas Department of Transportation is seeking input on a proposal to replace the existing westbound entrance ramp west of Campus Drive along I-20 and relocate it approximately 1,250 feet to the west.
A public meeting to discuss the proposed project is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. May 28 at Worth Baptist Church, 4900 Campus Drive. The meeting will be an open-house format with no formal presentation. Written comments must be submitted by June 12 to be included in the official record.
The goal of the project is to facilitate access to westbound I-20 from the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic without impacting traffic upstream and downstream of the ramp. No additional right of way would be required for the proposed project. It would not result in any residential or non-residential displacements.
Construction cost is estimated at $845,000.
