Neighborhood leaders visited information booths staffed by city departments at last year's workshops.

Each year neighborhood leaders, elected officials, area agencies and city departments come together to share and discover effective ways to actively engage their community. This year’s Mayor’s Community Engagement Workshops & Neighborhood Awards will be held from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 16 at Doxology Bible Church, 4805 Arborlawn Drive.

The event will connect neighbors with more than 40 exhibitors and 16 educational workshops led by City of Fort Worth leaders, staff and local partners. The highlight of the day will be the Neighborhood Awards Luncheon, which recognizes neighborhood associations’ efforts to revitalize, socialize, engage, collaborate, get healthy and communicate with neighbors with 14 award categories.
