The XTO Energy Parade of Lights rolls through downtown Fort Worth on Nov. 19.

Reserved seating along the Parade of Lights is now available for purchase. The parade’s official name for 2018 has been changed to the GM Financial Parade of Lights Celebrating 100 Years of Cook Children’s.

The parade starts at 6 p.m. Nov. 18 — the Sunday before Thanksgiving — at the intersection of Weatherford and Houston streets. The route has changed. View a route map.

Seats are individually marked and reserved. Your seats, once purchased, will be held throughout the parade. Most seating sections are three rows deep and are in the street.

Discounts are available for seniors (60 and older) and children 12 and younger. Infants, as long as they can sit in a lap, do not need a reserved seat.

Of course, there is plenty of space along the route to watch the parade for free.

The lighting of the Sundance Square Christmas Tree will take place at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 17.

The Parade of Lights is produced by Downtown Fort Worth Inc.
