Construction gets underway soon on improvements along 10th Street that will benefit pedestrians and bicyclists.

The project includes constructing sidewalks along the north side of 10th Street from Fournier Street to Forest Park Boulevard. Improvements will be made to the pedestrian crossing at Forest Park Boulevard and 10th Street to provide a connection to the Trinity Trails.

The project also includes installing a two-way bicycle track from Penn Street to Forest Park Boulevard.

Work will be completed this fall. Project cost is estimated at $182,000 with funding coming from the 2014 bond program.
