If you live in the Arlington Heights area, you’ll be glad to know that the five-street water and wastewater replacement project is almost complete.

Water and wastewater utility line work is finished on Calmont Avenue from Eldridge Street to Merrick Street, Melbourne Drive from the city limits to Roberts Cut-Off Road, and Carleton Avenue from El Campo Avenue to Bryce Avenue. Roadway paving work has started on Calmont Avenue.

Crews are scheduled to complete water and wastewater lines on Dexter Avenue from Sanguinet Street to Eldridge Street, and Lafayette Avenue from Owasso Street to Clover Lane by the end of February 2017.

Roadway reconstruction will start after water and wastewater utility construction is completed.
