National Voter Registration Day

Fort Worth Public Libraries

Every year millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline, don’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register. On National Voter Registration Day all Fort Worth Public Libraries will have information on registration and answer questions. Voter Registration cards are always available at the public library.

Fort Worth spooks and goblins can experience a safer alternative to traditional trick or treating when the Fort Worth Police Department hosts a Halloween Trunk or Treat. The family-friendly event is designed to transfer Halloween from the uncertain streets to the safety of a secured parking lot. Participating groups will turn the backs of cars, trucks and SUVs into the new front porch, creating a safer environment for parents and youth. Enjoy games, face painting, candy stations, displays and exhibits.
